When you use Nordo, we collect the information you provide directly:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash)
- Property data — addresses, photos, financial details, and lease information you enter
- Tenant data — names, email addresses, and phone numbers of tenants you add
- Payment records — rent amounts, due dates, and payment status you track
- Usage data — how you interact with the app (pages visited, features used)
How we use it
We use your data to:
- Provide the Nordo property management service
- Generate financial reports and tax estimates
- Send you notifications about your properties (when you opt in)
- Improve the product and fix bugs
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Where we store it
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Germany). All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
Your rights
Under EU data protection law (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate information
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data
- Export — receive your data in a portable format
